Hi! My name is Rhea and I am a social aficionado. I love to design and post my work on social media. I am totally cool if folks repost or use my designs after giving me the credit for it. In fact I love it when my work is liked and shared in the community.
However, not everyone does the right thing. They blatantly use my original work and showcase it as their own. Not cool! I couldn’t do much about it. Even if I put a watermark on it, they could use it after removing the watermark. I felt helpless and reconciled to the situation…until I found Dibs.
Now as I design in Canva, I dibs my creative right away from Canva itself. I get a nice dibs QR embossed on the creative. It has a link to my certificate that shows information about my creative, timestamp and several other important parameters. So when I found someone using my creative once again, I stopped them and showed them that I had called dibs on that creative and that it was mine. They had to take it down.
Finally, I feel like I have the power to own my creativity. How cool is that! Today, I cannot imagine a world where there is no dibs.
